Sitting almost motionless behind his desk, he instructed each of them to write a detailed account of their recollections; beginning with the first sounds of the ruckus in the fog-shrouded canyon until they had disposed of the last giant’s body in the river. They were told not to discuss the incident with each other or anyone else. Azazel’s assistant scheduled appointments for each of the men beginning the next morning.
