THE CHIMERA WITH A THOUSAND HEADS
Liam departed for the Law and Order Directorate headquarters as soon as Melanka was safely ensconced at the Nexo de Mondo Hospital. Sean stayed at the barn and met Melanka when she returned three days later.
It was a muggy day. A flush painted Melanka’s cheeks even though her skin was a few shades darker than most Domhanians. Sean said, “You look like you’re roasting. Come inside, it’s cooler downstairs.”
