CHAPTER FIFTY-THREE RESCUE Seeing the platform bathed in startling bright light, Anso grabbed his communicator and gave the order to advance. As the Oprit-Robia fighters hustled toward the docking facility they could see its defenders attempting to discharge their weapons. When none fired, most of the men and women simply turned, ran to the back on the dock and leapt off. All vehicles were likewise disabled. They fled afoot.
