For the past week, I’ve been helping Erick treat Casper, Paige's brother. My mom couldn’t come herself since she's essentially a tree rooted into the ground, so she taught me the necessary spells. Ouzo has much more control over his body, but my mom says he’s still connected to Icarus, because of the marks on his neck I mentioned earlier. They’ve been fading and are almost gone, so the spells my mom taught me are working. Paige’s energy has been off the charts lately – if that’s even possible. There's a certain glow about her now, one that wasn't there before. It’s clear it’s rubbing off on Casper, even though, being as pale as he is, it’s hard to tell, but his complexion looks much healthier, and his eyes have a light to them that wasn’t there when we first found him.
