"Are you busy?" I ask as I enter my father's office, who is surprised to see me.
"Helena, what are you doing here?" he exclaims, standing up.
"Well, as far as I know, I work here," I murmur as I approach him to greet him.
I preferred they didn't come to see me at the Di Sante villa; it was the most sensible thing, so we've been communicating via video calls.
"Today I feel better and decided to come back. I'll be here until after lunch, but I need to stay on top of the project." He nods as he returns to his chair.
"How's everything with Di Sante?"
"Uh... Fine, we're trying to have an amicable marriage." «Well, I think this morning was more than amicable». But he doesn't need to know that. "It's too early to tell, but I think it's working."
