The Party (Part II) POV: Salvatore I can barely hear the band music as I move away from the tent and the rest of the guests. It was supposed to be a calm and uneventful night. I sip my whiskey and choke back a string of curses as I recall Greta's words about my wedding to Helena, «Since when do my actions or decisions need to be discussed by others?» I owe nothing to anyone. I was a good husband, and during the time Ginevra and I were together, there were no other women. She was what I needed, the woman with whom I decided I would spend the rest of my life and start a family. «Am I the bad guy now?» Well, you know what? Everyone can go to hell because I have my plans, and no one, absolutely no one, is going to stop me from reaching the end. «Not even my new arrangement with Helena».
