Making a Point I enter the office followed by Livia, who prudently stays a step behind. "Why do they have to be such idiots?!" I huff as I drop into my chair behind the desk. "If I may, I think they're just tense about the new project." "It's more than that," I murmur. "Would you like me to order something?" I shake my head. "I'm fine for now," I say as I stand up and walk over to the office fridge on the side and grab a bottle of water. I turn around and find Salvatore in the doorway. Livia shifts under his presence, and when she lowers her gaze, I see how he intimidates her. I huff. "Livia, you can leave.
