We woke to a crash and a blood curdling scream. I looked at the clock ready to kill someone its 7 f*****g o'clock in the damn morning. They better have a good reason otherwise I'm going to kill them. Grumbling and getting out of bed. I looked over to see Lexi her eyes are shut staring at the dark lashes that make the prefect crescent moon on her face. The full red lips moving to the sea of red hair fanning out on the pillow. Making it look like spilled blood. Moving to her body that was hidden from my view . Debating on whether of not it was worth it to leave her like this another crash and followed with latin words. 

    "Dad don't you dare destroy my kitchen!" I yelled and started to run out of my room and down the stairs. 

  "Don't worry kiddo your dad wont." the assassin said with a grin. 

"It didn't take you long to find me. what do you want." I said circling around him all the while making signs with my hands to activate a trap for him. 

"Why cousin don't you remember me?" he said tauntingly his voice is high and whiny like a spoiled kid that didn't get his way. 

"No I do not I was cast out before I met any one then I chose to have most of my memories wiped clean. Besides why would I remember some nasty human witch that sucks." I said as Lexi sprang on him. 

By the time he had a spell her kitana was at his throat. "Now answer me human what coven are you from?" Lexi purred. He shuddered at the sound falling like a star out of the sky. 

"Celestial coven." he said and started to breath hard. 

"Lexi my love take a couple of steps back he cast a spell for destruction." said then rising my hands in the air and started to chant as the wind rose with my voice when he couldn't breath his spell stopped. I kept my spell up to imprison him in his own head. Once done Lexi was waiting to give me a cup of hot blood infused with coffee. I took a deep drink and looked at her over my mug. 

"So do you want to help me get him back to the coven?" I asked. Her eyes darkened to a deep emerald green and smiled. with that we took him apart and shipped him back to the coven with a note that said; 

the curse shall be undone, and what was done will come undone,

only for that to be undone one will have to call off the hunt. 

I summoned a currier demon to deliver the packages to them. I also tipped the demon well.

    By the time my father arrived back in my house it was clean and we were giggling like some school girls. "So what did I miss" He asked us suspiciously looking at both of us carefully. 

"Nothing to drastic but Gem's old coven she was with just sent over an assassin. So we trapped him in his own head and well sent him back in the mail." she was laughing at the end of it. 

"Really and I missed the fun. At the same time I'm shocked that you didn't just kill the poor fool." he took a sip of coffee and grimaced. we both burst out laughing. "What are you both laughing at?"

 "You." we both said at the same time. 

"More the fact that you drank my blood infused coffee." I said as I waved my hand at the expresso machine in the cabinet. That I only have out when he is here. 

Rolling his eyes dumping out the rest of the cup in the sink he preps the expresso machine. 

"How was your meeting this morning?" I asked him knowing the only reason he was out of bed at this hour was a meeting with the fey. 

He grumbled and continued making coffee. "His daughter is a highbred meaning her mother was a vampire. don't ask me how that is done. But the meeting went well the demons are working with the fey do to the uprising of the witches with their we will rule them all under our rules. God for bid us for trying to get equal rights along with the vampire community. The witches that are white are full fledge members because they are human." Shaking his head and sitting down at the table. He continued, " the darker covens that work with the demons are trying to kill off the white covens. which is normal but the clans of the others are talking about civil war. and that hasn't happed since Lucifer tried to over through God. Non the less they are also trying to kill off the highbreds whether they are royal born or low born. They fear the power that they wield. Like you Gem now that you have come into your power as a witch you also have to come into your power as a demon. And to do that you have to merry some demon then blood oath to rule your territory." 

I looked at Lexi and she looked at me then at the same time we both looked at my dad. 

"yes she is demon and yes it will work when do we want to do this wedding?" he asked happily as he summoned his phone to start the planning prosses. 

"I think that we need to do this out in the open so every one can come and see the wedding of the century. To prove that we will not stand for being bullied buy the darker forces." I said and stood up and took Lexis hand. with out saying a word she nodded her head. With tears about to spill over she kissed me hard.
