The Witch Gemini

Darkest Night

The call went out two hours ago. All hands on deck, so as I walk through the woods on this storming night. As I get closer to the scene the blue and white flashes of the cop cars got brighter and almost blinding bright. I slip on some of my charmed glasses to make the lights bearable. 

"Hey captain what did you need me for?" I asked. He raised his eye brow and blew smoke out of his nose. 

"Gem I'm happy you made it. I'm sorry for this but this fey is not talking and she's hurt. Normally it isn't a problem but...." he trailed of with a far away look in his eye. 

so with out another word I showed my badge at the make shift tent. As the flaps parted I was greeted with a pale young girl who was young enough to be around a hundred years old or so. 

"Hi my name is Gem. Do you know what happened to you?" I asked in a soft tone. that had a compulsion in it to make anyone spill themselves heart and soul. 

"I am the princess of the fairy king my name is Anna, or it was. I don't remember much but I was walking around the forest in the hills. Then I blacked out with a sever pain in my head. Next thing I know I'm here." she said in a beautiful tone like birds were singing. realizing I just got rolled. 

so I walk out after giving a nod to her and promise her answers and to call her father for more answers. 

"Hey Captain!" I yelled when I turned to see him talking to the fairy king.

"Gemini!" He barked loudly and told something to my captain he left laughing and grabbed my shoulder tight.

" Your daughter is in side you might want to see her." I said gritting my teeth. I never did like a man touching me. 

they hugged and I tried to walk away when he said a spell that I didn't catch. screaming in frustration I didn't even look. 

"What did you want?" I growled 

"I need to speak with your father can you summon him?" he asked like I he was pleased.

"I will but not now the police is still leery with a witch on the team let alone me. I will summon him later away from others and in a place I can control." I said when he didn't say anything I could leave now that I gave him an answer that he liked. 

    By the time I came out of the makeshift tent most of the people were gone and the only humans left were my Captain and his goons. 

"thank you for coming out tonight. I know its your day off and you requested the whole week off. do you need a ride home?" he asked 

I shook my hair out of my pony tail. I can feel his lust as the little light from his car caught the red tint of my hair. "No captain im walking home its not far from here, and before you asked no I'm not interested in you or any of the others. I have to go before the moon rises any higher." I said and started to walk off when he shouted Happy birthday. I waved back and walked faster. 

    once I hit the clearing to see my house lighting flashed from my eyes when I realized my lights were on and my defenses were off.
