Chapter Twenty Six
It's a day before Noah's birthday and I still have no clue on what I'm going to get him. I just got off the phone with my mom and she had no idea of what he likes so I guess I'll just ask his mom and see. Noah's been real quiet since Wednesday night and so has Cole. Stephanie says that Cole was still angry about how Noah used to act and clearly still does act. "What does Noah like"? I ask as Stephanie and I are making cookies. "Noah is very basic. He's very easy to please actually. He loves anything music related". She says, rolling the dough with the pin. "I'm surprised he hasn't told you more about him, but again that's how Noah is. He's a private person". She sighs. "Do you think he'll ever open up to me"? "Eventually he will, yeah". We get silent as we hear Noah come downstairs
