Chapter 3Namir put mung beans in water. It worried him to take things out of his pantry to feed Mara, but he’d Googled, and sprouting chicken fodder was recommended by many, both from an economical and a nutritional point of view. Mung beans were one of the things suggested to sprout. He stared at the green little beans. How much did one chicken eat? There was a rapid knock on the door, which made him jump.
