Chapter Three

1971 Words
Robin I let out a sigh as I saw my phone vibrate on the table. I could clearly see it was my mom, but I really didn't want to talk to her right now. I decided to just ignore the phone and focus back on my job. I was currently hacking into some software for someone. I did things from hacking, coding, and fixing cameras. I was very well informed with technology. Plus if something was wrong with technology I could fix it. Couldn't always do the same with actual people. Not even five minutes later, my phone started to ringing again and I groaned as I saw Wendy's name appear on the screen. It was like I couldn't get some peace and quiet. It was annoying to say the least. And they're not even here. "Yes?" I snapped as I answered the phone. "Robin!" Fuck! "I expect you to answer my calls! I'm your mother for God sake! I could have been dying!" She screamed, I pulled the phone from my ears. Please do die. "I'm busy working mom," I stated as I turned most of my attention back to my work. "I've been trying to contact you for a month! I have to ask Wendy about you and your life instead of hearing it from you!" I didn't see the problem with that. Saves me the useless conversation. "I've been busy," I huffed out. "Don't lie to me Robin Haywood!" She screamed. I snapped, "Then leave me the f**k alone! Do you honestly think I wanna talk to you! Think about it! After what you did, you can go to hell!" "I'm your mom-" I hung up the phone and slammed it down on the table. I rubbed a hand down my face and let out a frustrated breath as I tried to calm myself down. It was always like this whenever I talked to her. I end up pissed and she always yelling. I honestly didn't even know why she kept trying to contact me. You would think she would get the message that I wanted nothing to do with her. She could burn in hell, I thought as I seethed in anger. I decided to just come back and do the work later, so I grabbed my phone and left the office. I shut the door behind me and made my way to the kitchen, grabbed a beer, and then settled down in the living room. I turned on the TV and relaxed and after a few minutes of clicking through several channels, I was calmed down and focus on the shows. It seemed like the only shows I could find though were reality shows and those sucked ass. I know rich people are out here making shitty choices with their life and money but I honestly didn't care enough to watch it. I swear the shows were made to dumb down people and kill of any active brain cells. I looked over at my phone as I felt it's short vibrations through the couch. I grabbed it, hoping it wasn't my family, to see what I got a notification for. I saw that it was a message notification and so I opened the messaged. I chuckled as I saw the text from Samuel. Bestie Samuel: Hellooooo! I come barring my wonderful self!
