I lay on a couple of bales of hay watching Lilith nurse her puppies and I just wanted time to myself. There was too much going on at the house. Melina’s baby was colicky, the kittens were moved out to the barn, Barney (momma cat, Caleb named her Barney) did not like anyone except Caleb and she decided she wanted to hang out in the barn.
I had Angus, three kittens, a lamb, and Magnus hanging out with me. I would like to think they just wanted to hang with me because things were calm. The dogs were just hanging out with me because I decided to pack a basket full of food and drinks. So here I was hiding in the barn eating and drinking.
I was also avoiding Sullivan, he wasn’t making things awkward, I was making things awkward. Jer knew something was going on and was trying to get me to spill
