I gripped the door handle, my body leaning to the side as Leonardo turned down a private road..we had been driving for almost forty minutes and I knew Gage must've realized I was gone by now..
I also knew we were being followed. I think Leonardo figured that out too, that's why he was taking these drastic measures..he hasn't said a word to me since I have gotten in the car..the only thing he did was hand me a phone.
Vince called me and was sitting on the other line, just listening and waiting. I could hear soft muffled sobs in the background, the sound making my heart ache as I just wanted to get there and free my mom..she didn't deserve this..yeah she has done some pretty shitty things, but this isn't what I wanted.
