The journey back to Barrett's mansion was fast and Simeon barely said a word to Gabriella as they drove back. Maybe he sensed her mood and thought it best to just let her be. She pondered on her time with Ryan, and she knew she could not keep the truth away from him much longer. She was in love with him, and she wanted to be with him. She could clearly see his feelings towards her were genuine and she saw how bad it hurt him when she had to leave. She had been s little insensitive to his own feelings all these while and it appeared now that it was taking him a lot to accept the fact that she was married to someone else, it would hurt him if he eventually found out what she had been going through.
