Detective Mohammed and journalist Susan wandered deep into the endless desert, their footsteps carrying them across shifting sand dunes until they reached a place shrouded in thick fog. A dense mist rolled down from the sky, swallowing the horizon and blurring every outline. Away from the thick veil of vapor, a broad formation of rough rock slowly emerged—dark stones stacked together in a way that seemed almost deliberate, forming the massive silhouette of a black fortress.
