I looked at him flatly and he kissed my cheeks and sat beside me " Seriously, Gatlin you and your comrades never losses a single information about us!"
" Tonia sweety, Me and my comrades always watch and guard all of your very step even your secret meet ups.." He looked at me with a serious eyes " We all know how our cunning and capable all of you so even a iny-bity tiny information can't surpassed us."
I threw dark gazed at my beloved husband " Come on hon, its just a bet okay.." I formed a sweet smile at him trying to convince him " It won't cause harm okay."
He sighed and snaked his arms in my waist " Sweety, I know you more that anyone in this goddamn world, And last time you and your friends made a bet you almost blown a house!"
I gazed at him defensively" Hey! We didn't mean it okay. We were betting if Terries's bomb that she experimented last month will work!"
He exhaled sharply" Damn! Woman want me to remind you how lucky you and your friends are because the famous lawyer in town happens to be one of my friends!"
His voice reached its highest tone of mean one thing " Are you angry because the owners house sued is huh!"
He didn't answer and burry his face in my neck and sniffed my scent, its his way of calming himself and after a few second he spoke
" Okay you won.. Sorry sweet.. It's just we're badly worried to all of you." He let go of me and I faced him and his famous worried expression carved on his handsome face " We're in a middle of a serious conference when our phone rang unexpectedly, and we all knew it's not a coincidence."
My lips formed a wicked grin " And why is that darling?"
His worried face turn into annoyed" Your really asking me that Sweet! How can a twenty one fcvking phone rang at the same time!"
I rolled my eyes on him duh if he's annoyed we'll me too! " We're just having fun kaya! And that police man spoiled our friendship anniversary!"
He sighed in defeat and leaned on is sit beside me " I would never- Or better yet you would never let me won an argument with you."
I smiled sweetly " Awww.. My soft baby husband, love you hubby!"
His annoyed faced disappeared replaced by his soft face " I love you too, But please kindly remind me why I agree to marry you in the first place?"
I laughed naughtily and plant soft kisses on his cheeks " Because your head over heels and madly in love with me and I'm good at bed."
" Yeah." He kissed my forehead" I highly doubt that but please tell me what you and your friends up to this time?"
I unbuttoned some button on his polo and slip my hands and caress his broad chest " Don't worry our grandchildren will profit it."
" Why do I have a bad feeling on that deal rather than the previous ones."
I laughed heartily and brushed the tip of my nose on his jaw " uh-uh but I know you and your friends won't interfere in our doings right?"
He tucked some wayward strands of my hair beside my ears " Well to be honest. Yes, Not because we don't want to but we can't to." He nibble my cheeks and moved his callous hand up and down in my waist " All of you are our bosses and we're the slaves, Right."
I chuckle and rest my head on his shoulder and look at our family portrait in the wall but it's still not enough I want to fill every single space of it. A genuinely smile formed in my lips when I gazed upon our cute little three granddaughters having two pigtails and wearing cute baby jumpsuits carried by their lovable parents. Well let this game of sly manipulating and match making game begin.
