Ella’s POV
I walked out of the raging energy of the light portal and immediately opened out into a street. As the powerful wind from the portal behind me blew onto my hair, I swept my gaze around where I stood.
I could see houses on both sides of the street. Most of them were two-storey but there a couple of mansions as well. The environment everywhere here was neat and well maintained. As soon as I saw we had arrived, I turned around to see Phoenix and Asher walking out of the portal behind me.
Eagle was the last to walk out of the raging energy, and as soon as she did, the portal instantly vanished into thin air. We had come here just the four of us. Phoenix’s Mom had stayed behind with Suzie to check on the pack while we were gone.
Even right now, I felt a little bit sad for her… Ma
