Hearing the shouts coming from that upstairs floor, my heart started beating faster in my chest… I couldn’t live with my self if anything happened to Phoenix.
So I didn’t waste time. I quickly opened my arms out across my body and channeled the One Power. I felt the energy entering into my body from the air around me and it made me gasp, slightly losing my breath.
As soon as I stabilized the power in my body, I started to rise upwards from the ground where I’d been standing. I directed my body, turning myself in the air as I gained momentum and rose faster upwards towards the broken window where I’d fallen through.
