I opened my eyes and saw light peering into my room through the curtain spaces on my windows. It was morning already. A smile immediately adorned my face the moment I remembered what day it was today.
It was my freaking 21st birthday. The day I would become Alpha and take over the pack from my parents. I had been looking forward to today for like forever.
