Ella’s POV
As I made out with him, I felt so relieved that he was okay. Seeing him get mauled off by that creature outside had given me one hell of a scare. I don’t know what I would have done if he’d gotten hurt or worse.
Even though I didn’t want to, I slowly broke away from his lips and looked into his eyes.
“Are you okay?” I said.
“Yeah,” he said, “I’m still a little banged up but my healing is kicking in. I’ll be okay, don’t worry,” he said, making me smile.
“Okay,”
“Guys…” Asher suddenly said, making us turn to look at him, “I’m I the only one who’s freaked out right now. I mean what the hell was that thing out there… I’ve never seen anything like that in my entire life,” he added.
“We have,” Phoenix said.
“You have?” Asher said, shocked. “When?”
