Ella’s POV
I opened my eyes… and the first thing I saw was Phoenix’s face. He smiled slightly and gently ran his hand down the side of my face.
“Welcome back,” he said.
I was super confused. I didn’t know where I even was right now. I looked around me and realized I was lying on a couch. Taking a closer look at my surroundings, it dawned on me that I was actually in our living room. We were home already?
“What happened?” I said, looking into Phoenix’s eyes.
He smiled slightly as he looked back at me.
“You passed out,” he said.
