Ella’s POV
Phoenix stopped the car and parked it close to the edge of the woods. I looked around us as he was parking and all I could see were trees everywhere. The forest was so thick and lush here. Everything was green… it looked so beautiful.
Besides the huge wall of the Riverden pack estate on our right side, I couldn’t see any signs of people out here. It was completely silent. We could only hear birds chirping and singing in the trees in front of us.
The intense solitude out here kinda felt like him and I were the only two people in the world right now. With a warm smile on my face, I turned to look at him. We locked eyes, and I momentarily lost myself in his gaze.
“How will we even get there… These woods look so dense. Won’t we get lost or something?” I said.
He chuckled slight
