It was morning already and Phoenix and I were seated in our huge pack boardroom. It wasn’t just the two of us, the whole gang was here.
Asher and his mate Suzie were seated on their seats by the right side of the huge oval table. Phoenix’s Mom, on the other hand, was seated on the left side of the table across from us. Even though she wasn’t pack leadership anymore, she’d insisted on being here and helping us out with this.
And honestly nobody could blame her. Our pack was in some serious trouble and we literally needed all the help we could get. I was so happy that she was here. She was the best mentor ever.
