The pain shot up his back like fire. He cringed, he felt immense pain and the wound on his back made him desire death at that particular time. Since he was born he had never felt this kind of pain before. The pain in him exploded in his head with a blinding whiteness. He wished that he could sleep and wake up and realise that it was just a dream. But it wasn't just a dream, it was his reality and he had to persevere the pain. He had to do this for his family and wife. He couldn't just give up that easily since so many people depended on him. The excruciating pain made him dizzy. It made him reel.
