Forgotten Revenge

Still shy

She couldn't picture herself naked before him. She couldn't believe that he wanted to bath with her. She had never seen a man naked so she didn't know how they looked like without clothes. She knew at some point, she had to undress before him. But she wasn't ready for that yet. She was still not comfortable of being naked around him.

"You are still shy huuh Ary...?" He stopped poking her and stood too close to her. She could feel his breath and his alluring scent that made her desire to be around him all the time. He moved too close to her and started staring at her soft lips. She placed her hand over her face as she didn't want to stare at him. She couldn't believe that she was the one who was so close to a man. But he was her husband and she had to be comfortable around him whether she was shy or not. She knew that he would want to see her naked body at one point even though she didn't want to imagine of that day.

"Yes I have never seen a man who is naked in all my life. How do you expect me to bath with you yet you are now big", she mentioned as she placed her hands on her face again. She always did that whenever she was blushing and couldn't face him. She couldn't believe that he wanted to bath with her yet they were grown ups.

"I will let you stare at me all you want. You just have to let me undress you first", he wasn't making it easy for her. She couldn't understand the reason why they would bath together yet they were big.

"No I can't bath with you. We are now big people it's only children who bath with one another", His face lights up like a neon sign, and he abandons his body to the merriment. He began to chuckle. His chuckle was light, and laced with a hum of amusement at the matter. He couldn't believe that she thought only kids used to bath together. He wished to be cosy with her even though she was too shy.

"No it's not only kids who bath together. Even people who are married normally bath together my wife", he mentioned as he stared at her intensely. He was still admiring her beauty and wished that he could be able to smooch her even though it was a light smooch. But then he remembered the promise between him and her people. He promised to not touch her until she was ready for it. He only was allowed to touch her when she was willing to give it to him. He hoped that she would be ready sooner since he couldn't wait to be by her side.

"Aaah really...?" She wanted assurance that they would bath together at one point.

"Yes...", He nodded as a wide grin appeared on his face. He was mesmerized by her reaction and how she was astonished by what he just told her.

"So you mean we will be bathing together", he was amused by her innocence. He knew that she was a virgin but didn't think that she would be so shy.

"Yes we will do that when you are ready. You don't have to bath with me today. We can do it another day my wife", as always he was understanding and didn't push her to do what she didn't want to do. She let out a deep sigh then headed to the bed. She sat on it as she let herself relax for a bit.

"Let me go and bath first your maiden will bring you to the river after am done", he mentioned before he headed outside their room. She nodded as she watched him exit the room. She laid on the bed as she closed her eyes immediately. She was yawning for the moment she would sleep again next to him. She couldn't believe that she was the one thinking of those things. But then she was glad that he was her husband and would sleep closer to him for all the days of her life.

She heard someone opening the door. She didn't bother to look at the person who just stepped into her room. She was sure that it was one of the maidens that was assigned to watch over her. "How are you my princess", she heard the maiden who was assigned to her speaking. But then she realised that the voice of the maiden speaking was familiar. She decided to sit upright so that she could have a glimpse of her. She was certain that the maiden was also a vampire.

"Dina...", She mentioned with her eyes wider than before. She couldn't believe what she was seeing, Dina her personal maid was standing infront of her with another maiden by her side. She was relieved that her maiden would be Dina her best maiden from her kingdom. She stood then headed towards her to make sure that it was really her.

"It's me my princess", she confirmed it. She hastily embraced her tightly without any hesitation. Dina didn't expect her to react that way after seeing her. She opened her arms and hugged her too as she let her put her head on her shoulder. Ary was glad that she had another human by her side. She wouldn't get bored being around vampires for the rest of the times when she was in Xarvia.

"Wow am so happy to see you. Couldn't think that you would come with me", she didn't hide her joy. The other maiden was astonished with the way the princess embraced the maiden.

"Its the king of Xarvia who told your mom that you needed a female human maiden who you could interact with well. That's why your mother told me to prepare myself and not tell you. She wanted it to be a surprise", Dina mentioned of the way they had organised for her to accompany Ariana to Xarvia without her knowing. Ariana thought that she would be the only human in the kingdom of Xarvia.

"Who are you..." She asked the other maiden who was staring at them for the entire time.

"I am Anna...", She mentioned then bowed at her after speaking. Ariana didn't know that that's how they used to greet the royals. She found it odd that she was bowing at her like she was the king.

"Why are you bowing like that", she hastily asked her as she was awaiting for her response. She wasn't used to being treated like that in her kingdom.

"That's how we talk to the royal families here in Xarvia", the maiden mentioned then bowed at her again. Dina was also surprised but decided to keep quiet and let Ariana speak. She knew that she didn't like to be given extra special attention and honour. She always wanted to be treated like the other mundane people.

"While you are speaking to me kindly don't bow at me", Ariana urged her to not address her that way.

"Can we now go and escort you to bath", Dina mentioned as she waited for Ariana to speak. She slowly nodded and followed them to the river to have a bath.

"How many kids does the king have...?" Ariana raised a question. She always wanted to know how many kids the king had.

"He has two kids...", She hastily answered her. She had been warned by the queen to not tell her so much about them. But was given the permission to answer her general questions.

"Only two kids why.....?" She couldn't believe that the king had just two kids. She thought that she would be told that he has more than ten children since he had married two wives.

"It's cause vampires rate of birth is so low compared to that of humans. The king wanted you to get married to the prince so that you can bear many grandchildren for him. He doesn't want his lineage to end with his kids", she gave her a clear explanation of the reason why the king wanted his son to marry her. She understood the reason why he demanded her to be his daughter in law other than taking some potion of their land.

"Ooh wow so the king expects me to get many kids is that right...?" Ariana raised a brow at her as she waited for her response. She couldn't believe that the king only purpose of demanding her to be married to her son was cause he wanted to have many grandkids.

"Yes you should prepare yourself to have more kids since you are the only one who will produce his heir who will take over after your husband", she continued explaining as they were heading to the river. They finally arrived in the river area and Ariana was amazed by what she was seeing. The area around the river was so green and had different flowers around it.

"Wow this place is so beautiful", she mentioned as she took one of the flowers beside the river. She smelled the flower as she glanced at the two maidens who were watching over her.

"Yes it is my princess", Dina mentioned as she agreed with what she was speaking about. She remembered back home and how she used to bath with her sister who was just two years younger than her. They would first swim before they started cleaning themselves. That memory made her miss home and that made her have a sad smile on her face.

"Are you alright my princess...", Dina mentioned as she was worried about her. She didn't like to see her in that state.

"Yes am fine I just missed my sister", she mentioned as she started to remove her garments. Her maiden Dina helped her to remove the garments one by one. She was now left with the inner dress. The maidens excused her and headed further away from the river but didn't go too far away from her. She started to bath slowly as she enjoyed the coolness of the water.
