Vivian pursed her lips into a straight line. "Shameless."
Adrian asked playfully, "Who?"
Vivian glared at him. "You."
Adrian chuckled. "You were just sympathizing with me."

Before Vivian could finish her sentence, Adrian lowered his head and kissed the corner of her lips.
Vivian instinctively struggled, but Adrian grabbed her wrist, tossed the things in her hand onto the floor, and intertwined his fingers with hers.
His domineering kiss once again attempted to break through her defenses.
