After leaving the clubhouse, Adrian received a call from Liam in the car.
Liam had helped him arrange a dinner with Robert two days ago, but Grace had called and pestered him for most of the night. He fell ill the next day with a persistent high fever.
As soon as the call connected, Liam spoke before Adrian could say a word, "Dude, are you filming a TV show? What a coincidence, huh?"
Liam's words were confusing, and Adrian ignored him. He picked up his phone from the center console and sent Vivian a message: Are you asleep?
As expected, there was no response from Vivian's end.
