Dex may have convinced the others that he's taking most of the shifts so their work wouldn't suffer, but I don't believe it. It irritates me, but at the same time, it gives me a warm feeling inside. Which immediately triggers a pang of guilt. I know he wants to keep it quiet for now, but I don't know if I can. I hate having to lie to Bruce and Lucy.
I can still feel his lips on mine. And it's a wonder Bruce hasn't noticed anything, or at least pretends not to. Shouldn't he somehow notice what happened between Dex and me earlier? Shouldn't he smell something of Dex's scent on me? At least, I thought their sense of smell was that advanced. But maybe that only happens with prolonged intimacy. I make a mental note to ask Dex about that later. I'd rather ask Bruce,
