"Please tell me you're not stupid enough to let her go alone," Drake's voice echoes in my mind.
"What? No, of course not!" I reply, offended. No way in hell am I letting her go alone. I'm trying to decide whether to go after her myself or let Ronan or Reece follow her. If it were up to me, I would have already gone after her. I hope she didn't notice my irritation at her concern for Bruce. The fact that she was hurting because he was hurting irritates me. And yes, I know she doesn't feel the connection the way we do, that she can't just turn off her feelings for Bruce, but it sucks. I can't ignore my jealousy.
