Veronica's POV
Getting to my office and sinking my ass in the chair, I laid my hand on the table before me and I exhaled intensely.
My phone started ringing and when I checked, it was who I was expecting.
‘Darwin.’ My heart rang out in fear as I picked up the call.
“Hello,” I said, waiting for him to speak.
“Miss Veronica, congratulations on your company. "Is that the reason you have been busy?” He asked over the phone.
I sighed. “I will explain everything when I get to your company,” I said.
Darwin scoffed aloud before he ended the call. I knew he was displeased with my action. I just had to quickly run my hands through a lot of things in the company.
While I was busy settling things, my phone beeped. On checking it, I realized it was an email. I had to check it.
