Veronica's POV
I regained consciousness. Although I was still feeling very weak. Opening my eyes, it was slightly blurry. I had to clean it, only for me to realize that I was dumped beside a forest.
‘What am I doing here?’ I asked myself, but then I tried to remember what happened earlier. But it was to no avail.
‘Was my memory wiped?’ I asked myself. I don't need an answer to that because I can't remember what happened to me some days back. But I could still remember some other days.
However, the present issue isn't the main problem. ‘How do I get home?’ asking myself that, I started checking the dress I wore, and to my surprise, I saw an ATM.
I quickly removed it from my pocket with the intention of using it. Walking back to the street, I located a bank.
