I was surprised by Darwin’s response. I had thought he wouldn't want me around since he now sees me as an enemy of his company.
I sat back and relaxed while Darwin had a conversation with the lady.
Just when they were having the conversation, my eyes started getting blurry. ‘What’s happening to me?’ I thought in my head. I wasn't getting myself.
Just like what happened to me at the party. ‘Could it be that work is taking a toll on me?’ I asked myself that question until my stomach rumbled.
That was when I remembered I had not eaten that morning. ‘What the hell? Why didn't I remember to eat it? Now, I am being affected.’
