After trying to calm an almost hysterical Isla he took off her jacket and shoes and her glasses then he spent some time stroking her hair and reassuring her that he would not leave her side as she clung unto him like a monkey, he tried to soothe her trembling body by holding her close which agitated his restless wolf that was howling and clamoring to lay waste to whoever was responsible for her torment, he wondered if she would feel the calming effects of being in her mate’s arms considering that she so far seemed immune to all the effects he had experienced from the first time he met her.
