Friday Continueth Dear Diary, So this sucks. Everyone steps back as particles rise up from my skin and clothes. The tiny bits of me spin around like so many moons to my star. “What can I do?” asks Dare, but his voice sounds a million miles away. A blast of chilly wind grabs my attention. Turning, I face the huge break in the wall again. More freezing gusts blast against my skin. Looking down, I scan the snow-covered mountainside. The dying sun casts long shadows on the crags and ridges below. From this angle, all the ghostly faces appear upside down. With a gasp, I realize the truth. This is the moment from my first vision, way back at the Summer Palace. Now I’m here. And yes, I really don’t look too good. Raising my hand, I watch as more particles lift up from my fingers.
