Day Ninety-One
Dear Diary,
This journal entry is NOT about how Dare isn’t paying me enough attention. Instead, I’m writing about all the great things I’ve learned about other people in this hiking party.
New Things I Learned
Dare. Nothing. Unless you count that he’s developed an unhealthy interest in ice formations.
Ivy. She’s okay with her cottage being ruined if I can rebuild it better. This won’t be a problem as I have ideas.
Tristan. Really likes to ask embarrassing questions. I think he’s verbally pranking me.
As the days pass, the caves become slightly warmer. Dare thinks that we’ll reach the end soon. Not that he’ll talk to me about it directly. The prince chatters with Father; I can’t help but eavesdrop.
