Day Eighty Dear Diary, Today I visit my father. As I get ready for my trip, nervous energy careens through me. I even have trouble zipping myself into my pink battle leathers. If Father can babysit Sammy, it will solve all my death issues, fast. Dare arrives—in body armor and furs, naturally—and together we head to the Buttercup Forest. For me to travel to Earth, I must pull up some ley lines from the ground. The forest is a choice spot. Or it used to be. Now that the trees can talk, it gets a little dicey.
