"You! Y-You imbecile!" A loud screech was heard as the woman looked up at the man who stood above her, "How dare you betray me like this?! How dare you lie to me?!"  The man chuckled as he casually put on his gloves and looked back at the woman on the ground with emotionless eyes.  "Your highness, when did I lie to you? How can you say that I betrayed you when I never even said that I was on your side?" He crouched down to the ground as he questioned coldly.  The woman gritted her teeth as she glared daggers at the man. Her eyes that had always looked to be soulless and emotionless suddenly had a lot of raging emotions in them. From their usual, light blue—almost white color, they now looked to be much more pigmented as the color of blood reflected on them.  "Your highness, you look angry," The man spoke up without bothering to hide the amusement in his voice, "Anger doesn't seem to suit your pure angelic face. Ah! It would be an insult to compare you to an angel, don't you think? "  "What should I do then? Should I call you the devil?" The man chuckled, clearly mocking the woman, "But that's not right either. Since you'll be a disgrace to hell as well."  "Captain Rin! You really out-performed yourself this time! Between us, don't you think the word 'Devil' suits a conniving dog like you more?!"  Rin tilted his head in amusement as a small smirk crept upon his face, "Do you think so?"  The woman was silent as she didn't even bother giving him a response. She struggled to take back control over her body but it seemed that no matter what she tried, it was truly useless for her. She was powerless this time...  The queen of Exarius was on the ground, completely powerless as she faced a mere human mage who she considered to be one of her most trusted dogs.  Rin laughed as he nodded his head, "That's right. The word devil suits me a lot. Your highness is still right about every word you say!~"  The woman clicked her tongue as she glared at the man and shouted, "Just get it over with! Kill me and take over my position! May this planet burn under your eyes from your own hands!"  "Old hag, I see that you still spout a lot of nonsense," The amusing casual expression on Rin's face disappeared and in its place, there was a scowl as he looked at the woman.  The woman smirked as she heard him referring to her in such an openly rude manner, "Captain Rin, I curse you! I curse you to live! Live and notice how power drives you crazy. Live and experience what it feels like to be betrayed by the one you trust the most. Live a life that's worse than death. A life that forces you to keep breathing even if your mind and body have already given up on you! I curse you to be immortal and to see everything you love, burn before your own-"  Her words were abruptly cut short as her muscles suddenly tensed up.  "Did you really think I would be kind enough to give you time to complete your curse? How naive~" Rin chuckled as he stood up and turned around before walking away from the dead corpse of the woman whom he had finally managed to kill after all these years.  . . . Once a wheelchaired boy who was looked down upon... From this moment on, he became the greatest and the most ruthless hero that the planet had ever seen.
