Chapter Three The next morning, Sebastian woke up and found himself alone in bed. A note on the kitchen counter told him that Claudia had left early for the office. It wasn’t unusual for the couple to drive to work separately. Sebastian poured himself a cup of coffee and opened his briefcase to study the notes for the opening statement he was scheduled to make in a few days. Between the first and second page of notes, Sebastian found the flyer for the art gallery showing. He assumed that Claudia had planted it there. Their anniversary was next month, and Claudia always left hints about gifts she wanted. Sebastian decided to visit the gallery over lunch.
