When we first got to the hospital, Doc said it was going to take hours. I wasn’t even dilated so they gave me Pitocin. Which was pure hell. But 6 hours later, Doc was surprised but I was fully dilated and ready to push.
“Little one, you are doing so good. You are almost done babe.” Jayson said, smiling at me.
Once they stopped the Pitocin, the contractions didn’t seem so bad. A lot of pushes later, I heard my baby boy cry for the first time. The tears started pouring out of my eyes.
“Oh, Luna ummm, looks like we have another pup. I am going to need you to push again.” Doc said, sounding extremely surprised.
