The next morning I woke up even more confused than I was before. I wanted Nova back, but mating and marking Jayson meant we were tied to each other forever. It would be physically painful for us to leave each other. I could reject him after I had her back, but I don’t know if she could handle the pain. The longer we stay together, the stronger the bond becomes and the harder it would be for me to leave.
Because of Jayson now, my head started thinking about pups. There was a high chance if I got pregnant I would have a pup. I didn’t even really know where Logan and I stood as far as the future. I needed to know where we stood. I need to actually hear him say we would never be able to get married.
