Party

"Alex, shut up. I'm going to a party at my house whether you like it or not!" I shouted at my ignorant brother. "You're not coming, AJ. No one wants their little sister ruining parties for them." Alex told me. "What's going on?" My other brother Axel asked. "AJ wants to come to the party tonight, but I don't want my cringey little sister there. I don't want to have to keep an eye on you all night." Alex spat. Clearly annoyed. "Just let her come to Alex. She'll be fine. I'll keep an eye on her, she's 17, and she's not little anymore." Axel told him. They carried on bickering for a while. I left them to it and went to my room. I'll be honest, the only reason I want to go to their stupid party is that I know Nox will be there, and I just want to talk to him. If he was here, he'd have my back and persuade Alex to let me go. It is weird, he's been my brother's best friend for 14 years, and I've always had a crush on him. Nox looks like a god. Honestly, he has big bright blue eyes and wavy blonde hair. He isn't your typical good looking guy, he's so much more than that. There's a mystery to him. No one knows why he does the stuff that he does. He confuses even my brothers at times. *KNOCK KNOCK* I got up to answer my bedroom door and it was my other brother, Axton. If you haven't guessed already, my parents were weird. "I've just heard the twins fighting, I don't think you can come to the party tonight." He told me. It was typical, Axel was the soft one, the sweet shy brother whom always had sympathy for people. Axton always had my back, he was ride and die. And Alex, just had a massive stick up his arse about everything. He wouldn't let me do anything, ever. Even if it was something reasonable. "Axton, this is bullshit. I'm 17 years old, I should be able to go to a party and meet people, or at least tell my friends I've been to a f*****g party!" "No, I know, I can try to argue back, but it is Alex's party and if he says no, he says no." "No, it's fine, leave it. If Axel can't get through to him, nobody can, thank you though. Are you going?" "Of course, I'm going, I don't want to rub it in or anything, but I'm not seen as the annoying little sister." Axton explained. "Well, would you bring me snacks? Like you usually do?" I smiled at my big brother, as I asked him. "Of course, I will, trust me when you're 18, he won't be able to do anything. He can't stop you." "I know, bro, I know, but I'm not 18 and I don't want to be told no to a party in my own house." "That's true. Even though that's never happened to me, I wouldn't like it." Axton agreed sympathetically. "Thanks Axton, I'm going to have a nap or something, I'll talk to you later." Axton left and I just sat on my bed being angry with my idiotic older brother. I don't see why he has such a big issue with me being here anyway. It's my house too. No one else has an issue with it. Before I knew it, two hours had passed and it was only an hour before the party started, I went downstairs and got myself some refreshments and snacks before being banished to my room for the rest of the night. As I walked into the kitchen, I bumped into Nox, I lost my balance and fell to the floor. "Here, let me help you up." Nox held his hand out to me. As I looked up at him, all I could notice were those beautiful blue eyes. "Thanks, sorry, I wasn't watching where I was going." "Don't worry about it." He said. All I wanted to do was sit with him, chat with him, flirt with him. I wanted to stroke his lushious hair, but I didn't. My brothers would go nuts, all of them. "What are you doing?" Nox asked me, just as my brothers walked in. "Well, if you must know. I'm not allowed to join the party down here, I must be banished to my room like some sort of peasant, while everybody else who lives in this household can get drunk and enjoy themselves. So, I'm gathering some snacks, to keep me occupied and I'm going to eat until I'm sick, so when everyone is throwing up in the morning, I can join in too and feel just a little bit like I was there! " I shouted obnoxiously to Alex, my prison guard. "Sounds lovely. " Nox said with a smirk, I don't know if he thought I was pathetic or funny, but I didn't care, I'll overthink that later. For now, I'll carry on talking s**t to my brother. "If you grew up a little bit AJ, maybe you'd get to come." Alex spat at me. I knew I was being immature, but I didn't care. "I have more maturity in my pinky finger than you do in your whole body, and besides, I've heard you at parties and you're just as much of a child as you are a d**k. With that being said, goodnight, I'll see you all in the morning when you are hanging out your arses begging for me to find the aspirin and I'm going to blast music out very early in the morning, so you all suffer." I screamed at them. I knew I was being dramatic, but I was doing it to exaggerate my point. I could hear Nox chucking behind me. "Nox, don't laugh at her. You encourage her to act even more spoilt." Alex said to Nox. " I thought she had a point." Nox giggled behind me. All of a sudden, I was shy. I grabbed my pop and junk food and headed upstairs. I felt better knowing that I gave Alex a bit of s**t before I came upstairs, hopefully when he's drunk, he'll invite me down to the party. I don't know, it's worth a shot though. Hopefully, he cares enough.
