Maya's POV
I looked at Jay who was packing his clothes. He looked distressed for months. He can't even sleep properly. He often walks out in the middle of the night.
I felt so bad when I saw him touching his neck with two marks. He missed them for sure. Jay told me that Xavier and Emily mark him without telling him. He claims that he will never forgive them. But what I see is that he is suffering.
I try to talk to Jay about them many times. But he didn't want to talk about them. He is no longer my Jay. He is now totally different. It's not that he ignored me or stopped loving me. He just keeps touching me so he can forget about his mates. But he and I know that it's impossible for him because he already mated with them.
