Jillian Allegra ‘Angels weren't supposed to be tainted. Lea was her angel, and she'd protect her, even if it meant protecting her from herself.' From the very first moment Jillian Allegra laid her eyes on Lea, she knew she was in trouble. Those angelic eyes held a captivating power, both breathtaking and piercing. Despite Lea's small stature then, her presence overwhelmed Jillian, making her knees tremble. Lea's words and smiles were heart-stopping for the vampire. However, Jillian was older, wiser, and stronger. She refused to let fate's twisted ways harm the one person she would love endlessly. Jillian was determined to shield her angel, to keep her safe, because angels weren't supposed to be tainted. Lea was her angel, and Jillian would protect her, even if it meant protecting her from herself. Lea Allegra No one! No one could hold a candle to her aunt, that was a fact Lea knew well. Her aunt was not only incredible but also eccentric, beautiful, sweet, and, in Lea's eyes, the most amazing person in the world. Lea could go on forever listing her aunt's extraordinary qualities. She was entranced, just like her friends. Lea craved her aunt's attention, though she couldn't quite comprehend why. She couldn't fathom her own feelings, let alone explain them. But one thing was undeniable: Lea felt complete when her aunt was near. The void in her heart, always threatening to consume her, filled only in the presence of this remarkable woman. It was strange but undeniably true. Late at night, in the solitude of her thoughts, Lea grappled with tears and torment. Her life wasn't the perfect facade others believed it to be. She felt different. No longer was she the innocent princess her mother had raised her to be; she was a woman whose desires and needs consumed her. Late at night, all alone, her tears and torturous thoughts kept her company. Her life wasn’t as perfect as everyone made it out to be. She was weird. No longer was she the little princess her mother made her out to be but a woman whose feelings of desire and need consumed her whole. Her object of affection was forbidden. Yet, her heart and mind refused to accept the truth. No one could make her feel as alive as the single most unattainable person in her life did. She was stuck in a fantasy that she didn't want to lose or ever wake up from.
