“Most people call me Danni. Except for my mother and her customers.” Danae sat in the seat the wagoner had vacated. “And I don’t exactly need to go to Surith. I need to go to Simria, but I can catch a ship from Surith. I was meant to leave a couple of weeks ago, just after my sixteenth birthday, which is the earliest you can apply to the Alchemy Academy.
