Mallory moved back, letting Brodie take the lantern before she checked her journal. Her mouth momentarily hung open. “Twenty XP for discovering a dungeon. We need to find more of them.”
“I told you adventurers level up quickly,” Danae said. “Travelling to the capital will give you the best XP for a location.” She took the lantern from Brodie and checked inside the opening of the dungeon, stepping out of the way and handing the lantern over to Callum so he could have a look.
“What if we get lost in there?” Callum asked.
Ryan shook his head. “We shouldn’t do. We’ve got a compass.”
“I was wondering what we had that for. We’ve never really used it,” Brodie said.
