A smile formed, fading as Mallory’s worries crowded back in. “I wouldn’t mind. I need a bit more XP.” She was so close to her next CAS point. Levelling up, lack of gear and limited funds pressed in on her. “I want to go to other areas, but I’m worried we’re too low a level to go far from where we started.” He slung an arm around her shoulders, drawing her close. “That makes sense.” He paused a moment. “We can gather herbs in the morning if we don’t level up while fishing.” She nearly sighed. Surely there was a better way than that to level up. “We’re not going to fish all night, are we?” Mallory asked. “No. Probably take turns sleeping, fishing and guarding.
