THE WICKED PRINCESS IN THE ANCIENT KINGDOM OF IJIOLA,

The wicked Princess

    There was a  Princess in the land of Ijiola, princess Adekemi was also very arrogant and pompous. She went about the Kingdom with two maids and about six guards wielding canes and whips. It was expected that people must bow their heads when they came in contact with her. Those who failed to do so were dealt with by her guards on her orders. One evening, an elderly man named Akanbi was returning from his farm when he met the Princess and her entourage walking towards the market square. The man had expected that as an elderly man, the Princess and her escorts would greet him but they did not, however, he went on his own.

          Hey, you, come back here! Princess Adekemi shouted after him.

            Akanbi turned in shock. He doubted if he was the one she was talking to because he had children who were older than she was. The Princess was staring daggers at him with her hand akimbo.

      Are you referring to me? Akanbi asked. Will you come back here? Who else does it look like i am talking to? She yelled at him. 

    Princess the fact that you are the King's daughter does not mean you should be rude to people old enough to be your parents, Akanbi said.
