ALEXANDER'S POV I had called Rubby a million times, even going to her house and that of her parents. Her mom was mad at me, accusing me of being the cause of Rubby's pain, but I wouldn't blame her; she was right; if I had not insisted on her following me to the conference, all these wouldn't have happened. I paid to get her phone tracked, but it didn't work; it seemed as though she had removed her SIM card. The next morning was a disaster. The company was in chaos. Staff whispered in corners, emails flooded in from international bodies demanding explanations, and worst of all, the media was eating it all up.
