I swallowed hard when my back hit the wall. Someone miles away could hear the sound of my heart hammering against my chest.
"Trisha, you have to listen to me," I said with a trembling voice. "You are making a mistake! This has nothing to do with me."
"You think so huh?" Trisha scoffed and took a step closer, whilst tightening her grip on the acid bottle.
